Ceremonies are alive and help us to discover the beauty and simplicity of life. This weekend’s theme will bring us closer to the ceremonies of Greenland. It will also inspire us to make our own ceremonies living. During the seminar there will also be room for further topics and questions about all other areas. The main part of the seminar will be the storytelling, ceremonies and the chants with the Qilaut (Winddrum). It is a weekend where you can come home to yourself, while experiencing Angaangaq as a shaman.
Westerners miss nothing more than ceremonies. Unfortunately, today’s world is full of rituals and poor in ceremonies. So many ceremonies have lost their spirit. They are only celebrated because it has been the done so for centuries. The Elders say: “We are not alive if we live without ceremonies.” Without ceremonies, you are just busy with everyday things all day long. But for what? The old ones say:
»Life is a ceremony in itself, worthy of celebrating with a ceremony.«
Even if no ceremonies have been handed down to you by your ancestors – you do not know any ceremonies, you can create your own ceremonies. Let the weekend inspire you to celebrate ceremonies through mindful, conscious action and from the heart.
Angaangaq speaks English and will be translated into German.
