A MULTIFAITH GATHERING TO RESPOND TO CLIMATE CHANGE AT UNION
WITH ANGAANGAQ ANGAKKORSUAQ
Conference will precede the UN Climate Summit
New York, NY — On September 19–21, the weekend before the United Nations Climate Summit, more than 200 religious and spiritual leaders from across the world will gather at Union Theological Seminary in New York City for the Religions for the Earth conference.
Religions for the Earth will be hosted in conjunction with The Interfaith Center of New York, GreenFaith, and the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions.
This multifaith celebration will be a public event that will include government officials, activists, scientists and artists, and will be held in conjunction with the World Council of Churches and Religions for Peace as well as other institutional partners in building momentum for a decisive U.N. Climate Summit.
