At this ceremony, we celebrate both – the full moon and the beginning of the new Greenlandic Year – because this is the day the sun returns to Greenland and so it is the New Year’s Day there. It is an evening of coming together, of ceremony and the opportunity to get to know Angaangaq and his way of working. The venue midst nature offers a special setting for this.
