It is to cleanse yourself physically and spiritually.\nThe Sweat Lodge represents the Womb of Mother Earth. \nThere you go home to the Womb of Mother Earth and cleanse yourself so you can walk tall and powerful. In the Sweat Lodge you come home to yourself. When you leave the Lodge\, you have cleansed your body and your spirit\, you are born anew. You walk tall and powerful as you were meant to be for times and times to come. \nIn the Sweat Lodge you do not speak to the others and the others will not comment on what you say. They will honor you in silence. They are quiet while you speak to your Creator. You may also speak to The Creator in silence. The Old Ones say\, “The Creator is so big\, He can take anything you and I say to him – anything.” \nYou can participate in the Ceremony of the Sweat Lodge by being inside the lodge or being in Ceremony outside.
